The Old Port of Marseille (French: Vieux-Port de Marseille, [vjøpɔʁ də maʁsɛj]; Occitan: Vieu Port de Marselha) is at the end of the Canebière, the major street of Marseille. It has been the natural harbour of the city since antiquity and is now the main popular place in Marseille.

The Château d'If (French pronunciation: [ʃɑto dif]; Occitan: Castèl d'If) is a fortress located on the Île d'If (Ilha d'If), the smallest island in the Frioul archipelago, situated about 1. 5 kilometres (7⁄8 mile) off Marseille in southeastern France.

Fort Saint-Jean (French pronunciation: [fɔʁ sɛ̃ʒɑ̃]; Occitan: Fort Sant Joan) is a fortification in Marseille, built in 1660 by Louis XIV at the entrance to the Old Port. Since 2013, it has been linked by two foot-bridges to the historical district Le Panier and to the Museum of European and Mediterranean Civilisations; the latter being the first French national museum to be located outside Paris.

The Palais Longchamp (French pronunciation: [palɛ lɔ̃ʃɑ̃]) is a monument in the 4th arrondissement of Marseille, France. It houses both the Musée des beaux-arts and the Muséum d'histoire naturelle de Marseille.
