The Arctic–Alpine Botanic Garden (Arktisk alpin Botanisk hage) is the world's northernmost botanic garden. It is located in Tromsø, Norway, and is run by the Tromsø University Museum.

Operation Catechism was the British air raid of World War II that destroyed the German battleship Tirpitz. It was conducted on 12 November 1944 by 29 heavy bombers from the Royal Air Force which attacked the battleship at its anchorage near the Norwegian city of Tromsø.
