Trabzon (Turkish pronunciation: [tɾɑbzon]) is a city on the Black Sea coast of northeastern Turkey and the capital of Trabzon Province. Historically known as Trebizond, the city was founded in 756 BC as Trapezous by Greek colonists from Miletus.

Altındere Valley National Park (Turkish: Altındere Vadisi Milli Parkı), established on September 9, 1987, is a national park in northeastern Turkey. The national park is located in Maçka district of Trabzon Province.

The Walls of Trabzon (or the "Walls of Trebizond") are a series of defensive walls surrounding the old town of the city of Trabzon, northeastern Turkey. The fortifications are sometimes called the Trabzon Castle (Turkish: Trabzon Kalesi).

This is a list of some of the approximately 40,000 caves in Turkey, which provide an important tourist attraction for the country. There are such a high number due to karstification in the west and central Taurus Mountains.
