Turkish Clock Tower Travnik

Travnik Castle (Stari grad) is a medieval fortress on the hilltop that controlled the Lašva valley, later rebuilt under Ottoman rule and now offering wide views over the town.

The Ivo Andrić Museum occupies the Nobel laureate’s birthplace in Travnik, preserving the rooms and objects tied to the writer’s childhood in this Ottoman-era town.

Plava Voda (Blue Water) is a large spring, which creates approximately 350 metres long eponymous river, in Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It rises under Vlašić mountain, just below Travnik Castle, in the centre of Old Town of Travnik.

Travnik’s old town winds through čaršija lanes of mosques, fountains, and colorful houses — the best-preserved Ottoman urban core in central Bosnia.
