Gjergj Kastrioti (also known as Skanderbeg; c.  1405 – 17 January 1468) was an Albanian nobleman and military leader who led the League of Lezhë in the Ottoman-Albanian Wars until his death.

Germia Park (Albanian: Parku i Gërmisë; Serbian: Парк Грмија, romanized: Park Grmija) is a regional park located in the northeast of Pristina, Kosovo, and covers an area of 62 square kilometres (24 sq mi). Its highest point, Butos Peak, is 1050 meters above sea level and its lowest 663 meters above sea level.

The Great Hammam of Pristina (Albanian: Hamami i madh i Prishtinës; Serbian: Велики хамам у Приштини / Veliki hamam u Prištini; Turkish: Fatih Sultan Mehmet Han Hamamı) is an Ottoman-era monument in Pristina, Kosovo. It was built in the 15th century and was part of the Imperial Mosque.

The Kosovo Museum (Albanian: Muzeu i Kosovës; Serbian: Музеј Косова / Muzej Kosova) is the national museum of Kosovo, located in the city of Pristina. Established by Yugoslav authorities in 1949, this is the largest museum in Kosovo.

Historical monuments in Pristina are made up of 21 monuments out of a total of 426 protected monuments all over Kosovo. A large number of these monuments date back to the Byzantine and Ottoman periods.
