Hidden gems in Košice

This is a list of fountains, drinking fountains and water wells in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia. Approximately half of the over 140 fountains found in the city form part of the picturesque landscape of the medieval Old Town of Bratislava (the city was known in the past under many names) and serve as tourist attractions while many of the newer fountains are fine examples of socialist era building of modern panelák city suburbs.

Košice Staré Mesto (literally: "Košice Old Town", Hungarian: Kassa-Óváros) is a borough (city ward) of Košice, Slovakia. It encompasses the historical centre of the city, consisting of the medieval and early modern core of Košice, with many preserved historical buildings of several architectural styles, and a small number of more modern architecture.

The East Slovak Gallery, (Slovak: Východoslovenská galéria) established in 1951, was the first regional gallery in Slovakia. The mission of the Gallery is the protection and presentation of the collection and documentation of the art scene and artistic life in the region of Eastern Slovakia.

Košice is the largest city in eastern Slovakia. It is situated on the river Hornád at the eastern reaches of the Slovak Ore Mountains, near the border with Hungary and Ukraine.

The Plague Column (Slovak: Morový stĺp) or Immaculata is a Baroque plague column (Marian and Holy Trinity column) in Košice, Slovakia. The column is situated in a small park and commemorates the gratitude to Mary for an end to the plague epidemic from 1709 and 1710.
