Nizhny Novgorod

The Culture and Entertainment Complex Nagorny (Russian: Культурно-развлекательный комплекс Нагорный, romanized: Kul'turno-razvlekatel'nyy kompleks Nagornyy), abbreviated as CEC Nagorny or KRK Nagorny (КРК Нагорный), is an indoor sports and entertainment arena in the Sovetsky district of Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. It was previously called the Nizhny Novgorod Sports Palace of Trade Unions (Нижегородский Дворец спорта Профсоюзов) and the Nagorny Sports Palace (Нагорный Дворец спорта).

Museum-reserve of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin "Boldino" is a large Russian literary museum reserve, located in the complex of buildings of the family estate of Pushkin in the village of Bolshoye Boldino of the Nizhny Novgorod region, which is associated with one of the most fruitful periods of the poet's work, the "Boldino autumn" (September–November 1830).

Kuzma Minin (Russian: Кузьма́ Ми́нин), full name Kuzma Minich Zakhariev-Sukhoruky (Russian: Кузьма́ Ми́нич Заха́рьев Сухору́кий; c.  1570s – May 21, 1616), was a Russian merchant who, together with Prince Dmitry Pozharsky, formed the popular uprising in Nizhny Novgorod against the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth's occupation of Russia during the Polish intervention in Russia (1605-1618) coinciding with the Time of Troubles.

Nizhny Novgorod Fair (old name — Makaryev Fair) (Russian: Нижегородская ярмарка) was a fair in Nizhny Novgorod held annually every July near Makaryev Monastery on the left bank of the Volga River from the mid-16th century to 1816. Following a massive fire in 1816, it was moved to Nizhny Novgorod, but for some decades thereafter it still was commonly referred to as Makaryev Fair.

The Dmitrievskaya Tower (Russian: Дмитриевская башня, romanized: Dmitrievskaya bashnya) is the main tower on the southern wall of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin which overlooks the Minin and Pozharsky Square. The tower named after a powerful Prince of Suzdal and Nizhny Novgorod Dmitry of Suzdal.

The Shukhov Tower on the Oka River (also Dzerzhinsk High-Voltage Mast, Shukhov Oka Tower) is one of the world’s two (the other being the Shukhov Tower built between 1920-1922 in Moscow) diagrid hyperboloid transmission tower. It is located in Russia, in the western suburbs of Nizhny Novgorod, on the left bank of the Oka River near Dzerzhinsk (about 12km away from the city center, near Dachny village).

Pechersky Ascension Monastery (Russian: Печёрский Вознесенский монастырь, Pechyorsky Vozensensky monastyr) is a monastery in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. It is the principal monastery of the Nizhny Novgorod Eparchy (diocese) and the seat of the Bishop of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas.

Sovcombank Arena (Russian: Совкомбанк Арена) is a football stadium in Nizhny Novgorod, Russia. It was one of the venues for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
